Well, today I took a trip to the Apple Store to try to get my computer's Airport fixed so I can actually use it on campus. Since it broke I've been reduced to the corner of my basement where our Internet modem is so I can hook up straight to the Internet. It turns out that there is no immediate fix so they are taking it in for more repairs. Fortunately, I don't need my computer very much because the only document that I have to store is my Analytical Research Paper, and I have that on my flash drive. Unfortunately I have to find real things to do now that I don't have soccer practice everyday AND I don't have a computer to waste hours away on. I'm probably going to something like go to the RPAC or read books, things that should be above the computer in priority anyway.
I don't know what to write about because I feel like there is nothing really on my mind. I was so used to letting soccer take up all the thoughts in my head that now I don't know what to do with myself. I've been reading "Notes From Underground" by Fyodor Dostoevsky in my free time the past couple nights and really enjoy it. Anyone who likes kind of abstract, weird, philosophical literature should pick it up, but I think that is a pretty tiny fragment of our English class, possibly limited to only me.
Another thing is that I've been applying to colleges. I started my applications for OSU, Purdue, Columbia, and Brown over the past few days and have been plugging away at those. Its kind of a boring process, even though I understand what a big decision it is to make.

How could you choose anything besides OSU? Good luck with the applications! They're rough...
ReplyDeleteCollege applications stink! The applications are pretty tedious and the essays were challenging for me.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the applications! They take a while but its so worth it in the end. I understand your pain, i did way too many applications, so many essays but trust me its worth it, you'll have no regrets later!
ReplyDeleteI hate any kind of applications, but why are you applying to other colleges?
