The reason I didn't do this blog yesterday is simple; Nazi Zombies. I don't know if any of you are familiar with the Call of Duty games, but a new one just came out with a new installment of the Nazi Zombies game mode. In my opinion, this by itself is more fun than the rest of the game. The concept is that you're in a theater during some kind of zombie apocalypse. There are four windows initially that zombies slowly break down and come through, and you and your partner have to survive for as long as possible. Last night we actually got four people together and we managed to make it to the 11th round. As you go into later rounds, there are more and more zombies and you gradually move around the theater by paying credits you earn to open doors and get new weapons. One of the keys to doing well is finding the mystery box. The mystery box gives a random weapon, anything from a weak handgun to the ray gun, which kills anything in one hit. It is always a challenge to find the mystery box though because every time you play it changes location. Also, its nice because teamwork is absolutely essential. Without a teammate, it is totally expected that you would lose in the first two or three rounds, simply because there are too many zombies coming in and too many windows to watch.
I think I've effectively made everyone in this class think I'm a nerd, and however true that may be, I think its time to stop. For any of you who get a chance, do the world a favor and kill Nazi Zombies!
