Blog 47

Alright guys, I'm feeling nice and not tired because of the hour that we gained for sleep, so this should be a pretty painless blog entry. First off, ACT scores start coming in tomorrow, so I'm pretty excited for that. No matter what happens, I'll have a score I'm content with that will let me get into OSU. I worked on my OSU application today and all I have left to do is find out the exact date of my graduation and then press the submit button. I get to schedule my classes for next quarter on Wednesday, and I'm pretty excited for that. It should be a good quarter; I won't schedule anything too hard because I am glad that I am passing Calculus with a pretty high score in the class. Things have generally been going pretty well this past weekend, and I hope I can keep that up.
I read an article today that my friend posted on Facebook about head injuries in the NFL. If you haven't been following, there has been a huge crackdown on helmet hits in the NFL and people are getting lots of fines. This is pretty recent, but there is a coroner who has been examining NFL player's brains for a long time who has basically been shunned by the NFL because they do not like the implications of his findings. I always love reading a long article because I feel well educated and accomplished when I finish.
That's all I have for today, but I leave you with a great new song my friend sent to me. Very chill and folky.

  1. I was watching a game last night and there was a huge helmet hit. I can't remember which game it was, but the guy looked like he broke his neck. He just laid on the ground after he fumbled the ball and couldn't even get up. He could be out for the rest of the season now. It's scary how a little hit like that could change your whole life.

  3. Why wouldn't OSU accept you if you are already taking classes here? I think that shouldn't be a problem at all. Yeah for you to be about done with all of that paperwork.
