Have any of you guys seen those Formspring things? I think that formspring is one of the worst ideas our generation has come up with. I don't have enough ideas about it for 250 words, so feel free to comment on this short introduction. Letting ANYONE anonymously ask questions is such a tremendously terrible idea. People can EASILY be harassed online and there is no way to block people or stop it.
In other news, I find out about a concert I might go to tomorrow. Ben Folds is playing at the LC and I think it would be really fun to go. My brother has seen him in concert 3 or 4 times and says that he is a really good performer. Hopefully I can find someone to go with me before the show tomorrow.
Yesterday I took the SAT in the morning, and then I was done for the day. I did not want to go out and do anything so I just went over to a friends house and did absolutely nothing from about 1:30 PM until 2:00 AM, at which point I went to sleep. I can honestly say it was one of the best days I've had in a long time, because even though we weren't doing anything, I didn't want to do anything. I woke up too early to take a test that was too long, so I felt like I deserved a day of zero-productivity, and that's what I got. Eight more words to go, and I'm done.

  1. I had a formspring. I realized it was a stupid idea making one. I don't like answering questions I'm uncomfortable with and I don't enjoy mean questions. But luckily my sisters only ask me funny questions on it. I stopped using it after the first day. I think it's stupid. I'm also not a big fan of those stupid games on facebook where people answer questions about their friends on facebook. I didn't sign up for it. My "friends" just answer and it gives me notices. Some of those are hurtful, but then I realize how ridiculous it is that someone sits there for hours on facebook. :P

  2. I also think that deal that has been going on on Facebook is goofey. "Tell me you like this and I will tell you what I think of you." That is a little bit scary. Maybe I don't really want to know, so lie!

  3. To be honest, I think formspring is hilarious. I agree that it can lead to problems of harrassment, but if it does, get rid of it. And I think it's stupid that people get extremely upset over somebody that says something anonymously. And the person doesn't have to answer the question, or allow everyone else to see the question. I just laugh at formspring drama whenever I see it. I had a formspring, but I never had people talk trash on me, so it wasn't bad.
